  • medium amber in the glass with some alcohol and wood at rest. on swirling and aeration the toasted wood yields to aromatic peach cobbler, hints of caramel and yellow blossom. fairly smooth, a woody tobacco spice notes provides an initial bite that then melds to layers of stonefruit and pear laced with caramel, vanilla and the ever-present wood notes. a ginger spice note carries the long finish.

    40% AbV; blend of Moscatel de Alejandría and Moscatel Rosada from the Elqui and Limarí Valleys.; double-distilled on copper alembic stills from Cognac (unique in Chile); six years ageing in a mix of new and used (in Cognac!) French oak barrels.
