I still really like this wine! Particularly for $4 a bottle at auction. It has lasted really well, losing a lot of it's fruit but still finishing with that lovely phenolic taste and mouth feel. Well done.

You know, this is still pretty nice. It came very cheap and is probably past its best but it stacks up against the 09 I had last year. Plenty of fruit and the colour is almost-but-not-quite salmon. Not particularly long and very forward, but quite pleasant!

Smokey minerals on the nose. Good palate weight, with some RS. Kerosyne, interesting nose. Hard to describe. Fairly monotone across the palate but in a friendly way. Kiss of RS on the palate is nicely done, if shortening up the finish.

Color: Clear, light golden topaz. Nose: Extraordinarily expressive of grape, ripe orchard fruit, melon, warm white flowers. Palate: Full bodied, weighty. Sexy mouth feel with round, lucious fruit and traces of florality. Oak and malo are obvious. While really pleasant, it can make food pairing difficult. Fabulous to sip and be in the moment. 14+% alc. (D 5.5, F 7; SoPo)

Excellent Pinot Gris. A lot more fruit flavors and body than most Pinot Gris I've had. Lovely color, light-medium body. Fragrant, elegant, Lots of citrusy fruit flavors with a touch of minerality, nice mouth feel, good finish. Good QPR at $17.
