  • Color: Almost rose, orangeish. Nose: candied apricots. Taste: A little sweet. Candied fruits like on the nose, especially apricots. Some acidity, oily with some length. Decent summer wine at $8 if you can handle a little sugar.

  • But a solid 85. Not a fan of this producer, especially the pinot grigio. That being said thought I'd give this a shot at <$10 and was pleasantly surprised. I can't get Kristen to drink rose for the life of me but she actually enjoyed this. Faintest hint of blush due to some extended skin contact also gives it a little (and I stress little) more depth and a strawberry overtone. Perfect back porch summer wine. Maybe we'll be having more rose by the end of the year.
