Primarily Tempranillo with a bit of Graciano blended in. Dark red/violet color. Aromas of currants, leather, rose petals and sweet baking spices. Red and black berry fruit on the palate with additional flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, dried dill and coffee. Really soft texture and tannins. A bit of a bitter, spicy and oaky finish. Reasonable and a good value.

Better than I noted 47 days ago. Ruby red with garnet edges. Soft, warm aroma of boozy strawberries. Soft body, nice tannins and dry, yet full of fruit while slightly resinous. Middle is not missing. Nice finish. +1
December 14, 2023 - Appearance is shimmering and shiny garnet. Aroma is fresh berry salad. Tastes tart and somewhat flavorful with a medium body, but it feels a little hollow, like the middle is missing. Good, but missed my expectations, which may have been too high and/or not a great tasting moment.

Opened for 30 minutes before the pour. Drank with a hearty bean dish. Quite nice together. Enjoyed after dinner too. Dark red with hints of purple color. Bouquet with sawdust, lavender, olive or caper at the end. Strawberry initially with medium tannin. The olive is still there. Leather. Licorice (dill?). Very nice. Easy.

Drinking well for the price point and age. Compares well to some Gran Reservas. Lovely bouquet and well rounded taste.

Solid Rioja Tempranillo example, but less oaky than most reservas. Has the ability tonage 5+ years and get better. Very enjoyable for the price point.
