  • Mid onion skin colour with super fine bubbles. Not much pop on the cork!
Very much a savoury nose with toasted brioche, smattering of red fruits and some subtle, savoury aromas.
Medium-bodied, the entry is creamy textured with a fine blade of taut acidity. Flavours of soft raspberries and cream with light pastry and balsamic. There is some width to the mid-palate. A well-balanced wine that shows finesse, complexity and perhaps is a little evolved so drink up.
As the wine opened in a bottle, the acidity calmed, and the fruit became more apparent with cranberry joining the raspberry whilst the texture became richer and creamier. It also felt more linear than the initial width I picked up. Long finish.
