  • Has quite a funk to it. You kind of have to meet it halfway. There’s lots to unpack. It’s not floral. It’s not sugary or vegetal. It’s….it’s…it’s quite agricultural.

In all seriousness, a prototypical Pinot. Light garnet color. P funk and red fruit on the nose and palate. It is agricultural! Nice clean and crisp acidity. Cool climate blues. Is this grape growing on me? I did not try hyperdecanting. Maybe next time. Price wise, it was as good as bottles that cost multiples of this one.

Music pairing: Eduardo Araújo & Silvinha – Sou Filho Dêsse Chão

  • Cherry, oak spice, pine forest... Juicy upfront, but it turns quickly to spice, conifers, and soil. Tannins are grippy and acids refresh. Cherry juice and skin notes linger through the finish. Nice Pinot!
