Fine one from JC. Salty lemon, honey and cream at opening. The palate was much better after an hour. Creamy, vanilla, crispy with long finishing. Very enjoyable wine.

Another fine Joseph Colin 2020. But once again, there’s soooo much reduction on the nose and palate when first opened. After a first sip of this, I decided to decant it and revisit a couple of hours later. At that point, it had opened up a lot more and was showing very well. Precise, white flower on the nose, bright citrus and pear on the palate with a long mineral and saline finish.

Pale yellow color. Medium body. Medium plus acidity.
Flinty reduction. Notes of lime zest, green herb. Ripe white peach and white nectarine. Lemon layers of acidity. Honey and slight bitterness in midpalate. Also Vitamin C note somewhere. Finish elegantly with orange zest and floral note.
The riper side of white stone fruit. The overall balance is still good. A pretty good village Chassagne.

Solid. Crisp minerality and light on the palate. Finishes fine and daily long.
