  • First time ever I’ve tasted a white Hermitage. And definitely first time I’ve tasted a “white Rhône” with such complexity. First wine in a row of four wines - all tasted at a private tasting at the domaine. The grapes come from the “Les Greffieux” plot of the L’Hermitage. Big white with huge structure. Young and with a firm grip on my palate it really shows the terroir… Guillaume Sorrel advised me to either drink young (within the first year) or put away for +10 years in the cellar. Me, I actually liked it young…
