Potpourri on the nose, berries, spice, and dried herb. The finish is mouthwatering tannin, plus a nice cherry note. At first, the acidity seems a bit watery, but this seems to be better integrated as the glass opens up. This is more or less what I want in a Cahors Malbec, which I do feel is unjustly overshadowed by its Argentinean counterpart. Inky, concentrated, and broody as I like.

Really interesting nose of chocolate covered orange, spices, blood orange juice and navel orange zest, cinnamon rolls. Full-bodied and dense, this is quite good with a good future ahead of it. Quite drinkable now with enough air, this should improve over the next 3-4 years and last 10-12. Drink 2025-2033 91-92
