Beautiful color of an aged wine. Sour cherry and cigar box on the nose. Tannin is still prominent but well integrated. Nice spice and dark fruit on the palate. Lingers on the tongue in a pleasant way. I genuinely like how Seavey is not the typical fruit bomb from Napa. Mature, complex wine that still has years left.

Decanted on opening, big, but not overpowering nose, nice dark fruit, chewy good medium tannins. Should pair well with a nice chunk of grilled meat. (Not past its prime either.)

Delicious wine. Juicy red and black fruit, some herbs and still a touch of tannins on the finish. Best with our ribeye steak. Just ok with the strip steak and the fillet mignon. Great QPR at the $20 close-out price. Last bottle. Drink now or next 2 years

This is a beautiful wine with an unbelievable QPR. Lots of black fruit, with a sweetness and good balance. Open, decanted and poured. So smooth and enjoyable, highly recommended. Still has a couple years left at its peak before starting on the downslope. Enjoy now or over the next couple of years.
