  • This was pretty good. Some well rounded fruit, with soft tannins. While it was easy to drink there was still some seriousness and good palate weight.

  • Wow. This could be the best Aussie merlot I have ever drunk? A complete surprise packet. Although only 4 years old does come come across like a 6yr - 7yr old. Very settled and nicely mature with dried herbs and savoury fruits across the nose and palate. A faint tinge of acid as well. Strictly medium bodied and the cabernet-like green fruits (very faint, not underripe) suit the structure beautifully. Best drinking over the next year or 2.
