No experience with this vineyard, clone, or vintage, but this left me a little underwhelmed compared to this producer's Rhone lineup. To me, it comes across as a generic Central Coast PN with a heavy influence from the alcohol (even though it's only 13.5%) hovering over the underlying varietal character. No way that I'm saying it isn't a well-made wine, it just isn't a style I favor. Happy to be proven wrong if my remaining bottle ages into something more to my liking.

The winemaker note mentions “fruity and spicy” on this clone, and I agree. Drinking well now, complex, good w food or on its own

Tasted after 90 minutes of air. Very sweet and floral. Quite a bit of tang provides some balance. Some spice.

Didn't write down TNs, but this is a great combination of spicy, earthy, and fruity. Drinking well now, and will age nicely. Very tasty :)
