This is a really great QPR glou glou food wine. 3rd bottle of 6. Just great with any food you throw at it. Pizza, pasta, calzone.... and any other red meat dishes that arent too heavy. Great fruit, good acidity, and solid tannic (but not too tannnic spine). really in the zone.

Nose: tar, white roses, strawberry, cherry, pepper, very floral aromatics. Palate: dried strawberry, plump cherry, very light baking spice.
The Nebbiolo overshadows the Pinot, but that’s okay. The Pinot makes it a bit more approachable by itself. A lot of punch up front and a Short finish. This is really, really great QPR. I’m buying more.
For some reason I thought this was a Sangiovese when I purchased it months ago and immediately knew it was a Nebbiolo upon opening. Accidentally paired with a veggie pizza and this really deserves something like a boar Ragu or cherry duck.
