14.7 alcohol; composite cork; maximum 3 mm wine penetration; cork aroma of alcohol and sweet cherries; medium to heavy weight foil; long legs, crystalline light-colored burgundy; opened and tasted 15 minutes later at approximately 17 degrees C; medium bodied; nose of brown leaves and stone fruit; tannins, minerals, forest floor; definitely not fruit forward; short finish; pair with hors-d'oeuvres cheeses and nuts.

I was expecting more from a Kirkland wine. This was a bit lackluster. Light body and thinner than I expected. It is easy to drink, yet we were not very eager to finish off the bottle. 2019 Kirkland Signature Willamette Valley Pinot Noir ($12.99) is not a wine I will buy again when Costco has several other house wines that are better QPR and more enjoyable for under $10 (Malbec; Cotes du Rhone; Bordeaux; Chianti; Rioja).
