Moderately dark salmon color. Moderate nose of lush strawberry. Well rounded mouthfeel, nice acid concentration and almost Grenache like fruit flavors. Very enjoyable and a worthy Rose for Summer enjoyment.

The Sixth Annual World's Largest Blind Tasting of American True Rosés: Retail $25. Saignée. This is one of the few saignées that I allow into the tasting since a) it is always fantastic and b) James and Kerry MacPhail (the winemakers) are two of my favorite people on the planet. Light salmon color, but with a slightly odd nose, a bit on the sour side. The palate, however, is completely delightful with great fruit, wonderful tartness, and some heft. Excellent.

The Seventh Annual World's Largest Blind Tasting of American True Rosés (Houston, Texas): Retail $25. Medium color with a dirty, even meaty nose with some ripe strawberry. Good fruit initially, but a little lacking in acidity, nice weight and balance, although I still would have like a tad more tartness. Still, very nice. Excellent. 90 Points.

Not your average rosé. Full body, lychee, with herbal notes. Jolly Rancher finish that last forever!
