(Comtes Lafon Pommard) Deep colour. Herby notes, high-toned. Tons of tannin, still with some astringency. The tannins are well matched to the acidity and fruit that bursts across the mid-palate. The main aspect today is the tannin, but I think this young wine has a great future - I'm amazed how muscular this wine is!
