This wine is more interesting now given additional time in the bottle. Overall, I liked the 2019 more, but the 2020 has come together nicely. This is not as broad-shouldered as a RRV Chardonnay, but there is a lot to like about this coastal wine. As alway, WS's use of French oak is, thankfully, judicious.
(Served with baked chicken, basmati rice with turmeric, and par boiled fennel in a cream sauce with Parmigiana cheese; all worked well together with the fennel complementing the wine in a sophisticated way).
