This is a "limited edition" Rias Baixas, of which which this is bottle 12,537. According to the label it is aged on fine lees with stirring in steel for at least six months. This treatment combined with a couple of years in bottle provides a more intense expression of Albarino, with concentrated lemon/citrus characters predominant on the nose, as well as some slightly saline hints and a touch of white flowers. Quite persistent in the mouth, with fairly bracing acidity. This is very fine, potentially age worthy Albarino, and for €15 this is a relative bargain.
