This is a wine to hide deep in the cellar for 5-10 years. Pure and clean but tightly coiled, especially on the nose. Lemon and orange, subtle floral notes. The lees have yet to show much influence, despite resting on them for 10 years. Similarly, the 10% oak barrels and ML weren't front and center. Extra brut, the 2gm dosage seemed just right. This came off as a regal old vine BdB, elegant and structured yet reserved, with extraordinary potential. Swayed by this bottle, I ordered more.
Clas Cazal is always excellent. So was this one even if it’s in its absolute youth. We drank this blind and had in the top of the of the flight. Perfect harmony. Acidic and young with citrus, baked bread, almonds. A hint of toffee. I recommend to wait for at least 5 years for this one.

Withdrew one of the two cases of this from the cellar at the start of December. How glad that I am!
This really is exceptional, and I'm now torn between trying to hold on to it for longer to see how it develops and drinking now.
