A private dinner (Restaurant Dona, Amsterdam, NL): A blend of (mainly) Encruzado, with Malvasia Fina and Bical, fermented and aged for three months in French oak barrels. Pears and grapefruit, dry and fresh and citrusy, nice hint of cream from the oak, lovely tension and energy, good length.
