I can go two ways with this one. Was expecting a a mouthful of viscous, lifted stone and citrus fruit with of course plenty of minerality. It seems, mostly because of the conditions of the 2021 vintage, this Finger Lakes Riesling is quite austere. On the other hand, this austerity brings depth, structure and acidity in a very delicate package that really drinks very well especially with some air time in the glass. The color is pure gold. The nose shows some diesel with loads of mineral and lime. Not quite medium bodied. Lingering lemon/lime and minerals.

Nose: Citrus (lemon and lime), white peach, vague white flower notes. Palate: Much of the same plus minerality, honey. Medium+ acidity which is very pleasantly balanced. Medium body.

jasmine, green apple, lime, honeydew. seem to always get the petrol on young FLX riesling. This is dry but not bone dry.

BtG at a restaurant. Straightforward but satisfying FLX Riesling. Medium bodied, citrus and honeydew notes. Good acidity.
