This is quite open for business. I don’t think it’ll shut down (at least not hard) but only time will tell. This has lots of funk, barnyard, rust, tilled earth, potpourri, Pommard-esque. A touch of roasted coffee at the backend.
Palate is silky; neither dense nor fleeting. Great balance. No real trace is alcohol (which is 14%).
As cerebral a new world pinot as you can get for $50. 91-92.

Biodynamic farming since their founding in 1965. 8% new oak. Medium plus nose shows a strong funk note that's distinctive, horse barn, game, dried cherry, orange peel, cranberry. Palate is fresh, pretty, dried red fruits, potpourri, definitely leans more French than most. Landmark producer, unique style.
