The palate is fresh, fruity, and rich, featuring balanced sweetness that emerges in the mid-palate, accompanied by chocolate notes. The lovely, long finish reveals hints of leather and chewy tannins, suggesting that this wine has the potential to develop further with time in the cellar. The 2017 vintage is known for its exceptional quality and concentration, making this Teusner sparkling Shiraz an excellent example of its kind. Dosage was kept relatively low.
