Really excellent with so much pear aroma and flavors, giving near-sweet and tart elements with an intriguing citrus brush on the finish. Impressive concentration and persistence.

Some rainy-day blinds (Chicago, IL): Served double blind, and immediately identified as Bordelet Poire, though I didn't make a distinction of which one. This was very easy to drink, pleasant and refreshing, and with a very clear taste of ripe pears. Perhaps this isn't as concentrated or sweet as the Granite.

As previously noted, not too effervescent .. just enough to keep it crisp. Excellent pear taste! You can appreciate the fruit, no musty barn-y quality. Definitely sweet but doesn't leave a thick sugary coating behind in mouth. Would've preferred it crisper and cleaner but not a bad pour.

Nice quaffable sparkling pear wine/cider, with a little grilled lemon bittersweetness in the flavour profile. Lot 18 with 5.5% ABV.
