Opened by a friend. 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from 30 year old vines. Giorgio Rivetti of La Spinetta purchased this winery which is the oldest Spumante maker in Italy. The wine is aged for 7 years on it's lees. Yellow color. Lighter bead. I found it to be off dry but some of the others drinking it thought it was dryer. Rich texture with white fruits and minerals. Some bitterness on the finish. 85 points.

Nice. Schoolbook Contratto with that extra age dimension.
Will buy again if I get the chance.
