  Usually, if I rate a wine less than 80 it remains unfinished in my glass, next stop down a drain. No different here. I only had two more sips so that I could record WHY it is bad. Pungent grassy nose, light on color, very little density, no hold to the glass, hot, hot, hot in the palate with an overabundance of acidity and alcohol; bitter, bruised cherries and burnt tar with green peppers. the only finish here is heat - like a shot of whiskey. Would not even cook with this wine. However, the label is dynamite!

  Not as bad as the other reviewer suggests, but not much good here either. Harsh and thin, but there is a sour cherry flavor somewhere in between. Definately would not buy again, but if you're having a big party and no one cares what they're drinking, go ahead and open this one up - if at least for the attention that the bottle's label will receive.
