  Neon purple colour and redskin/musk stick lolly nose suggest some carbonic maceration. Palate matches the nose plus tart pomegranate and raspberry fruit. Sharp acidity and semms and tastes very alcoholic despite only being 13.5%, maybe needs more years to integrate.
  I was ready to say this is a very good wine but at a nascent stage that needs patience, but after about 4hrs in decanter the acidity and alcohol were both still aggressive while the flavours had faded. Hopefully that's not where it goes with time in bottle. A low score today but it could become significantly better if it settles down a bit.
