Lovely and lively bargain varietal from the Languedoc. Impressive QPR, at about $15 US. Nose offers apricot, sage, acacia honey, and salty peach. A bit coarse, but clean, well made, and when well chilled is a fine aperitif change of pace from boring pinot grigio or grassy Sauvignon blanc, but with similar light body and texture. Like a more floral gruner, and pairs with tricky edibles: asparagus, quiche, and steamers! Very nice.

Ok but not great. Well priced but there are other Southern France whites at a similar price that I like better.
