  • Dont remember if I ever tasted a sparkling Gruner Veltliner. It comes from 50 year old wines, aged for few months in Austrian oak and 30 months on its yeast at its 700 year old cellar. Pale yellow colour, green hue. Reductive aroma of smoke, sulphur, chalk, lemons. Round and expressive palate filled with mineral flavours, fine rich mousse, oily texture, lively and persistent acidity, touch of salinity at the finish.
