  • Dark golden in color.

Medium plus in body and dry, with medium acidity.

Showing limes, citrus, lemons, herbs, apples, bitter vegetables, light wood, must and popcorn.

    Short tangy finish with limes.

Well, this did not work out well for me this time. It's always interesting to try, but it is over the hill by now.

Not complex as I expected it to be, and a little musty.

After 30 minutes of airtime, the nose shows more sweet notes of dried figs and prunes. Interesting, but not very tasty.

This 25 year old Chardonnay did not hold well, but that is the game we play, isn't it?

    13% alcohol by volume.

    82 Points.

    $30 (current vintage).
