  • German white wine from the Rheingau: Riesling. 13 % alcohol.

Decanted for one hour prior to consumption and then stored in decanter during the evening.

    Pale golden color.

Crisp and delicate aromas of limestone, lemon, ripe pears, white flowers, brioche, yogurt and minerals. Crisp flavors of green pears, crushed limestone, lemon, white pepper and minerals.

Dry. Medium body. Medium+ acidity. Very good balance. Very good structure. Low complexity. Pure. Fresh.

Medium finish with green pears and crushed limestone.

A mineral driven and very crisp and pure Riesling. Very refreshing and enjoyable, but perhaps not that memorable. It performs all the way from fridge temperature to room temperature and improves with aeration. Should improve with age. 91/100
