Terrific balance—M/M+ body, M+ acid and intensity. Fresh citrus and just-ripe stone fruit and melon. I’m told neutral oak, and probably a short time or only partial. Paired beautifully with a seafood-based Spanish meal.

Racy nose with a saline grip. Feels like it went through 90% stainless and 10% oak for depth. Palate shows candied quince, lemon rind, and a touch of fennel, with a bready, drying finish. Godello seems like it went through an identity crisis around ten years ago, with folks overoaking it and aspiring to Puligny-like Burgundy aging regimens, but this feels like a sweet spot here. Delicious white, ready to please with seafood and white meats.
