  This was really delicious and fun, although in my opinion a little simplistic for a $40 burg. Lots of really really ripe red fruits, almost like strawberry jam. There was a tiny little touch of something earthy in the far background, but that kind of almost artificial strawberry was far and away the star of the show. Decent acidity holding it together, although it could have used a little bit more energy I think. I'd certainly take this over one that's needlessly austere, but I'm not sure I'd buy it again. It could get really interesting after some aging, once the fruit relaxes a little bit.
