Fico, Singapore - I watch in horror the score this has received on CT thus far. To me it is a perfectly serviceable Barbera, possibly more. Will need to find out more about the producer. This has a nice Acidity kick at the backend that makes it eminently drinkable for an otherwise high ABV wine. To me Barbera is the Beaujolais of Italy: inching up in alcohol content with global warming yet good examples remain very drinkable, mostly for short term consumption yet some examples may surprise with aging. Barbera is my go-to with tomato-sauce Italian dishes

Barbera d'Alba as it should be... Young and fruity. Open one hour before drinking. Needs some air.
