From 75cl, DIAM5 closure, P+P, did not improve in glass. Concentrated dried cranberry/dried morello cherry is the best bit, but there are some ester-like impurities on the nose and the mid-palate has a distinctly odd texture, squeaky and watery at once. Lacks the attractive ripeness of the 2015 (tasted at a similar age back in 2018). 87P

Could be mistaken for a right bank Bordeaux! Mint, fruitcake, cherry, round and supple, smooth and chocolatey. Moreish. I really enjoyed it. Modern style.

Very well made. Spicy, rich and smooth. Good black fruit. Great texture. If you like chianti you’ll like this IMO.
