  • Following-up on my TN from October 2023. Tried to get more from this bottle --- wasn't happening. Largely the same as the previous bottle: dry, light, and austere. Not oxidative. It's "totally fine," but ultimately not worth the price. I'd be happy to pay $30.

  • Has this fun, almost honeyed nose. One of those subtle fruit, liquid rock type champagnes. For my taste could use just a little more fruit to balance it out but I can appreciate the style.

NOSE: moderately "bright," yet also a bit vinous and cheesy.

BODY: was a gusher upon opening, despite being at fridge temp.; active, medium bead; medium straw yellow color; light bodied.

TASTE: light tasting -- nowhere near "heavy" territory; not much finish -- most of the action is on the front palate; possibly should have let this warm more, or see more air. Vendage 2018. Good, but not distinctive: I'll try my best to coax more character out of the next bottle.

  • Vendange 2018. Golden green color. Pineapple, cream, sweet apple and hay on the nose. Med acidity, med body, med alcohol, med flavor intensity and med finish. Nice and round, very gastronomic and full, this can definitely go with some dishes. Very nice already!
