I served this in my wine course. Plenty of cherry in the nose. Touch of wood both in the nose and the finish. Nice, but a bit underwhelmed compared to some of the other Burgundies of the evening.

Garnet with no rim variation, tears fast thin, nose dark, earthy. Decent full body holding gripping tannin, long dry finish. Enough fruit to make a decent everyday table wine pod enhances.

Medium garnet, brownish hue. Nose of earth, cloves, oak, toast. Enters the palate with soft tannins and good structure. Slightly aged and a bit musty for a 10 year old Burg, missing a bit of freshness and eclat de fruit. Need to try the Grand Cru of this estate sometime soon which I always recall to be mid 90ies in good vintages.

A whiff of espresso suggests some oak influence at first but is then gobbled up by the dense fruit. There are purple flowers and dark cherries on the nose. It is rich, dark and deeply pitched in the mouth with tremendous rocky detail. It finishes with chewy tannins but is very well proportioned and balanced. This is extremely youthful and a very classy Burg, way too young to drink now but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
