Quite a fascinating Pinot Gris (Grauburgunder) from Württemberg. Got to admit, that I would have guessed Chardonnay and Burgundy, which I guess is not the worst association one can have. The bouquet mixes some peaches with lemons and some creamy elements. The palate gives you full bodied, but fresh mouthfeel and some nutty (almond) elements. Overall this is quite convincing for a grape varietal, I usually take a big detour.
