Granite crystals and pear. Ideal balance between crystalline purity and softness. Loved it after a day of hard cycling. Don't fear drinking this beauty now.

Popped on arrival. Maybe the single most compelling young dry riesling I have ever tasted. On the nose: pure apricot, peach, soft flowers and herbs, stone. So complex. On the palate: so elegant, lovely acidity, balanced by richness and lovely density. So intense. Grapefruit, peach, stone. it's all there. Absolutely stunning.

A bit on the dry side, with piercing acidity and a lemon/lime/pear/herbal profile. Fantastic minerality, but the wine is very tightly coiled right now and dominated by the structure. Give this time and it will be glorious.

Uncorking this is like breaking the seal on a pharoah's tomb, releasing a haunting rush of aromas seeming to emanate from some deep, dark place. But before long the howl subsides and the wine settles into the mold of a tight, pale-fruited riesling that needs time to unwind, with a low rumbling bass line from the stony realm.
