  Light greeny gold. Surprisingly muted nose: neither the asparagus/grapefruit explosion of Marlborough, nor the smoky, flinty complexity of Pouilly Fume. The palate is rich, with a touch of leesy complexity - but just a touch. Good length from ripe fruit, but I sense little acidity, so don't imagine this will age well. Too subtle for its own good? 14%, screwcap.
