  Grapes from Aomori. But yeah, this and the other Japanese wine we had this night were fun, wine-themed beverages. Store had advertised this as a Japanese Lambrusco. Have I had Lambrusco? But this was not far off from my idea of it: red, fruity, fizzy, easy. If you're not necessarily looking for wine, this could be a cool bottle to open up and pass around and drink in a foursome over cards. If it weren't for its price I could almost recommend it, despite knowing it's not especially good. I am close, close to *liking* this for what it is.
