I'm told by the folks at BBR at St James that I purchased the last bottle of GC they had (or maybe they told everyone that), the bottle is very closed off, I'm undecided if the wine had "purity of fruit" and "precision" or is it plainly one-dimensional. Decent acidity and tannins, but still feels a little flabby to me. For a similar price point, I had better experiences with Dugat-Py's Bourgogne for example, but maybe it just needs more age to open up.
