Interesting to see the JR-linked scores ranging from 15.5-17.5 for such a young wine. The challenge seems to be whether one can embrace the austerity or not. Personally, I couldn't find sufficient fruit or weight to envisage this coming properly into balance.

Nose: initially, white peach, slightly floral. Fresh. Hour in, much mire refined, mineral. Chablis-like Palate: initially more white peach, mineral undertoes. Hour in, more mineral, wet stone Good QPR, but not knockout in absolute terms.

Pale lemon colour. Medium and developing nose with bruised apples, lemon, hay and wet autumn leaves. Medium taste of bruised apples, lemon, wet autumn leaves and mushroom. Medium long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium (-) body. A good Furmit that lacks that little extra. Drink now or over the next three to four years. Goes well with cheeses, cured meat or poultry.

Blossom & pear drops to begin.
Sharpens up after half an hour and delivers a more refined, crisp experience with notes of apple and stone.
