  • Andre Proulx said this might be the best Ontario Cab Franc ever produced. I agree this has impressive potential. For now it is a young, rich and aggressive wine from a wonderful vintage.

Aromas are ripe black fruits and pronounced oak. Cocoa, chocolate, menthol and blackberry.

Palate is rich and firm. Chalky tannins, warm alcohol and powerful acids.

Flavours are full of mocha, mint and black cherry.

It will take time for this wine to develop and integrate but the potential is there.

  • Winner of a Gold medal and a 95 rating at the 2023 Decanter World Wine Awards.
Opulent, plush and inviting, with aromas of lush dark cherry, cocoa, dark berry , liquorice and espresso, while the textured palate is graced with blackberry, spice and well managed tannins.
