Medium red color with onion skin colored rim that gives a hint about the age of this wine. Lovely, aged pinot nose of rose petals, cherry, and raspberry. The palate is surprisingly youthful with woody oak, cherry, raspberry, earthy notes, and a wisp of cinnamon on the long finish. There is adequate acidity that lifts the beautiful red fruit in this light-bodied wine, and the finish still has a tannic bite with excellent length. Overall, this was an excellent, aged pinot with surprisingly vibrant fruit and integrated structure. The tannins were a touch drying on day 1 but were more integrated on day 2. Interestingly, Day 2 brought out a touch of rubber on the palate, but it was not entirely unpleasant. I should search for more because I believe this could go another 5 years. Well done Ed.

Garnet center with orange tinted rim. Initially, the nose seemed a bit oxidized but that quickly cleared to provide cherry, red raspberry, and cola. The youthful palate is packed with cherry, red raspberry, cola, spice, and earth. Structurally, the medium-bodied wine has a silky mouthfeel and balanced acidity to match the fruit. The finish is packed with red fruit and has moderate length. Overall, this has aged well with a hint of bottle sweetness while retaining its red fruit and a touch of spice and earth.

Great effort and QPR. Very dark in the glass but much lighter in taste. Cherry with great acid. Long lasting flavors - secondary spice and a bit of the cranberry that others tasted - I got it on the finish. Mouth watering.

(14.5%) A Pinot made in a bigger style but while retaining its elegance. Nice dark cherry fruit with a touch of cranberry and a “singing” acidity that brings it all together. While the fruit remains this one turns earthy and spicy on a long finish. Intense but not overpowering; a wine that speaks to me. My only regret is that this is my last bottle. Wish I had a few more around. Let that serve as a note for me to start ordering regularly…

Terrific with mild pencil shavings on the nose and terrific full throttled fruit on the palate with a finish that goes on and on
