Initial burst of complex flavors and lasting finish. Subtle almond flavors with grilled swordfish. More of a Burgundian style than some of the other Stuhlmuller Chardonnays. Considering 22 months in French oak this must have been just released and will be interesting to see it evolve with some cellar time.

From Mazzocco: Appealing aromas of hazelnut, honey-suckle, and French oak lead the way to oak infused Bartlett pear with hints of vanilla bean and Key lime notes in the mouth. This wonderfully refreshing crisp Chardonnay finishes with wild honey and melon with hints of spice and bright acidity.
