Color: ruby. Transparent Nose: fairly assertive. Red fruit and…iodine. Palate: good acid/tannin balance. Round and easily drinkable. Berries and the continued undercurrent of iodine. Not unpleasant.
Unique flavors for Corvina in my experience. But don’t overthink it. If you can get it at a good price pour it with pizza

This Valpolicella from a famous grower is fuller bodied and more structured but less fresh and lively that most in my memory. The berry cherry infused fruit is round and pleasing, texture is smooth and the acidity is amply sufficient for balance. Good, if not worth the price here of c.€19.

Unlike the 2020, likely a flawed bottle, oddly garbage grapey, perhaps heat damage.
