  Deeply pigmented youthful magenta - reticent nose that woke up after some time out if the bottle - in fact if I come across this one again anytime soon I will try to remember to decant it - clean raspcherry, minty herbal stuff, and limestone cream. Acids and tannins present and in balance with the rather impressive stuffing.

  Popped and poured.
  Very bright gorgeous magenta colour, with quite slow legs and good viscosity.
  Nose is typical, yet i found a pronounced barnyard and funky/brett note that softened with some air, probably related to the "triple A" and natural approach of this winemaker.
  Fermented cranberries, macerated strawberries, ripe sour cherries, moss, oak, barnyard, forest floor, roasted cocoa, allspice, leather, dried mushrooms, rose petals.
  The wine has good acidity and nice minerality, it has a great concentration and is quite dense and powerful, with silky big tannins.
  Red fruits, cocoa, earth, baking spices and tobaccoey, leathery finish.
  Nice structure and medium to full body, with a seamless and quite long finish. The mouth anyway showcases the heat of the vintage, and reflects its alcohol (14,5%) which is pretty unusual for a Pinot from Burgundy.
  It's a nice silky and quite balanced Bourgogne, totally approachable right now but a little atypical and quite too "big" and rustic in style rather than elegant and classy, reasonably due to the vintage..
  Maybe give it 2/3 more years to fully integrate the oak but i will not wait longer than 5 years opening this. Drink now with a good decant.
