  • I am not the best person to talk about the various flavours, but this had a clear yellow to a little light golden color in the glass, tasted more rounded and less hard/dry than many other whites I have tasted. Over had this with some fried fish and it is a good wine. Tasted better after sitting in the glass for about 15-30 minutes. I have some more left, which I will finish over the course of the week.

Tasted July 9, 2006 at home during the second half of the France and Italy World Cup Final match. 13% alcohol. Opened and glass decanted about 15-30 minutes before serving in a Spiegelau Authentis Weiss Wein glass. Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of pears, crispy/green apples, flowers and some melon notes. Maybe a little lemon zest as well. Flavors of crispy apple, citrus fruits and melon. Maybe some pineapple as well. Crisp acidity, good balance. Light to medium bodied. Drink over the short term. Upgrading my previous rating of 87+ to 89. Based on the local retail price of $18.69 I’d say the value here is between agreeable and recommended.
