  Day 1 - Did not decant; light bouquet; flavor was a disjointed flavor of oak and black fruit; slightly bitter after taste.
  Day 2 - the balance of oak and fruit was resolved with a softer fruit flavor with some complexity and an enjoyable lingering after taste.
  Day 3 - even better. Obviously I should have waited a year or decanted.
